A shootout near Geneva and Mission streets leave and officer and 5 others included a male juvenile were wounded. It all started in a barber shop, gunfire broke out at around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The police officer who was struck on the leg is in fair condition at San Francisco General Hospital, two of the others wounded are in critical condition and the three others are in stable condition according to police reports. One of the five people hit was the suspect and is one of the two in critical condition.

At 4:30 p.m., police received a call from a parent on the 200 Amazon Avenue reporting that his son was in possession of a gun. When officers got to the scene the suspect ran into a nearby barber shop. Minutes later they entered the barber shop and the suspect started shooting at them.
