Logic is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. In 2009 he released Logic: The Mixtape under the name Psychological. He later signed with Visionary Music Group and released 3 more mixtapes. In October 2014 he released his debut album Under Pressure. His second album The Incredible True Story sold over 185,000 copies. His third studio album Everybody was his first to debut at number 1 in the U.S. with 247,000 album-equivalent units.

Early Life:

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II was born at Shady Grove Hospital on January 22nd, 1990, in Rockville, Maryland. His dad was a African-American Maryland native, and his Caucasian mother. As a kid, his parents were drug addicts and alcoholics. Logic says he grew on Section 8 housing, food stamps, welfare, and dealing with social services, he also says ” I never had a Christmas, I never had a birthday”. Although his father was absent during his childhood he recently reconnected with him. As a teenager he witnessed his brothers produce and distribute crack cocaine and had also seen them selling some to his dad. He attended Gaithersburg High School but did not graduate and was expelled after he started skipping class throughout the 10th grade.

Personal Life:

In 2015 Logic got married to Jessica Andrea. In an interview logic says ” My mother was a good woman, But she went through a hell of a lot of sh– from drugs, prostitution — all types of sh– — it f–ked her mind up.” He also says “My mother got stabbed, she was raped, she tried to choke me to death as a child,” “I can’t even begin to explain the tormenting feeling of living in my household: constant screaming, death-curdling screams, arguments between my mom and other men, her getting her f–king ass-whooped. At times, there was blood all over the kitchen and f–king floor.” “It’s so hard to wrap your head around that and the fact that my own mother would call me a n—-r as a child”
